About Seamless

John 19: 23-24   NIV

23When the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took his clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.

24"Let's not tear it," they said to one another. "Let's decide by lot who will get it."    This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled which said,  "They divided my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing."  So this is what the soldiers did.

Our name comes from this scripture passage.  The soldiers decided to cast lots for Jesus undergarment because it was "seamless", or without imperfections in their eyes.  The value for this garment comes from the fact that it is without seams, or perfect.

So are our lives in the eyes of God.  Before we receive the free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, we are worthless sinners in the eyes of God.  After we have been saved, and pronounced Christ as our Savior and Lord, then we receive our seamless undergarment of forgiveness that was bought with the blood of Christ.  Once we are saved, and our sins are forgiven and we become perfect in the eyes of God and our lives are given value in his perfect will.

The Seamless Sound....

The only way to describe our sound is to say that we are a Christian southern rock band.  Our music is guitar driven and can vary from a soft acoustic ballad to a driving praise chorus.  We try and follow the Holy Spirit's leading during our worship sets and allow the music to ebb and flow with the moving of the Spirit.  We all tend to fall back on our rock and roll roots when it comes to music, so our songs tend to be upbeat and have a definite rock feel.  If you would like to hear some of our music, we would be glad to send you our demo cd to listen to.  Just contact us via email here.

Our Mission

Seamless was created for two main purposes, to bring Glory and Honor to the one true Living God, and to lead his people in worship of him through music.  We were brought together by him in his perfect will, and it is our prayer that we remain centered in His will as we go out and take His message of Salvation to the people we meet.
